Academx can put you and your students on the Same Page. Working with Academx gives you customized class materials (lecture notes, anthologies, lab books, etc.) designed and published professionally for your course. Your custom book will be focused on the way you teach, allowing for maximized effectiveness between the in-class lecture and outside reading/assignments.

We will produce as few as 25 books, design the text and cover, manage the set up for printing/binding and even secure the legal permissions for copyrighted material. You tell us what you want to include. It can be entirely original works (like lecture notes), a selection of readings or a combination of both. We will put it all together and publish on our state-of-the-art digital printing and binding equipment. When you see the quality you will be proud to have your students using custom course materials. And you will be amazed at how your own course books improve the academic experience for you and your students.

Your course books will be sold through the bookstore. You work with Academx on the contents and then include “your book” in your order requirement to the bookstore. We will work with the bookstore to be sure they are on the shelf for the beginning of the semester. Academx’s products are bookstore “Friendly”- we do not bundle or have extraneous pieces making inventory easy to store and sell.

Since you are creating the course materials, Academx will pay a royalty to you and your department. Our royalty structure is designed around your needs and the requirements of the department.
